What are you looking for in the audition video?

​

Your video audition submission can include past rehearsal and/or performance footage, or something that you’ve filmed during the current stay at home orders. We would love to see what experience you have with contemporary dance and ballet, but also welcome examples of movement or dance that you specialize in. By no means does it need to be filmed or edited professionally, it should just give us a good sense of who you are as a dancer. If the footage includes other dancers in the frame, please let us know where to find you among the group if it's unclear. The video should be no longer than three to five minutes in length.

Do I need prior training to dance with Flight Path?

​

Yes. Though there is no specific requirement, the expectation is that you have had training in ballet and contemporary. Other forms of dance are certainly welcome.

 

Which ages are eligible for Flight Path?

 

Flight Path is exclusively for 14 to 18-year-old dancers. You must be turning 14 by the end of 2021 to be part of our next season.

 

What is the audition fee?

 

There is no audition fee.

 

What is tuition for the season?

 

Flight Path is a tuition-free program.

 

When are rehearsals?

We rehearse three times a week:

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5-8pm

Saturdays, 10am-2pm

When does the new season begin?

 

Our next season begins with Orientation Day on Saturday, September 11th 2021, and runs until the end of May 2022.
