What should I wear to the audition?

 

Whatever you feel most comfortable dancing and moving in!

 

What should I prepare for the audition?

 

Everything will be taught at the audition, including a ballet barre and select company repertory.

 

Do I need prior training to dance with Flight Path?

 

Yes. Though there is no specific requirement, the expectation is that you have had training in ballet and contemporary. Other forms of dance are certainly welcome.

 

Which ages are eligible for Flight Path?

 

Flight Path is exclusively for 14 to 18-year-old dancers. You must be turning 14 by the end of 2020 to be part of our next season.

 

What is the audition fee?

 

There is no audition fee.

 

What is tuition for the season?

 

Flight Path is a tuition-free program.

 

I am unable to attend the audition. Can I submit a video audition?

 

Yes. Video auditions should include ballet and/or contemporary, and can be sent to info@flightpathdanceproject.com

 

When are rehearsals?

We rehearse three times a week:

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5-8pm

Saturdays, 12-4pm

 

Where are rehearsals?

 

Gibney Dance, 280 Broadway.

 

When does the new season begin?

 

Our next season begins with Orientation Day on Saturday, September 12th 2020.
